Overview
The STEP Oberoi is an entrance exam conducted by The Oberoi Group for admission to their prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development (OCLD), which offers training programs in Hotel Management and Hospitality Studies. The Oberoi Group is one of the leading luxury hotel chains in India and internationally, and its STEP (Systematic Training and Education Program) is designed to prepare students for careers in the luxury hospitality industry. The STEP Oberoi Test is specifically for candidates who wish to join the Oberoi Graduate Training Program, an intensive, hands-on training program aimed at providing students with world-class hospitality education and experience.
Exam Details
The CLAT is a 2 hour paper-pen test with 120 multiple choice questions with 1/4 negative marking. The test is conducted in various cities across India on the first Sunday of December.
Exam Pattern/Paper Format
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a paper-pen-based entrance examination for aspiring law students in India. It assesses candidates across five key sections: English (20%), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (25%), Legal Aptitude (25%), Logical Reasoning (20%), and Mathematics (10%). The English section tests language proficiency, while General Knowledge and Current Affairs focus on recent national and international events. Legal Aptitude evaluates a candidate’s understanding of law and reasoning, whereas Logical Reasoning measures critical thinking abilities. Finally, the Mathematics section emphasizes basic numerical skills, ensuring well-rounded preparation for legal studies.
Process Information
The application form is released in August. Students need to complete the application process by mid-October. The test is conducted in December. The admission process is carried out in multiple rounds from end of December through May-June.
