Program Learning Outcomes
Law Entrance Exams like CLAT, SLAT, AILET, Christ UET, LSAT etc. focus on English, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Basic Mathematics. iQue trains students to enhance their reading, vocabulary and grammatical skills, their analytical and logical reasoning ability, their general knowledge and current affairs awareness, their understanding of legal aptitude and skill with numbers. We also train students for the personal interviews conducted by certain institutions as part of their admission process.

FAQs
Can I study law after Std. 12?
Yes. With the inception of the 5 year integrated LLB courses, students can get their LLB along with a bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BSW), by joining the integrated law program right after std. 12th
Is there a common entrance exam for law in India?
The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities is the common exam for most of the National Law Universities and some private institutions as well. In addition, there are other entrance exams like the AILET, SLAT etc. conducted by different institutions, which the student can appear for, as well.
Do I have to appear for an interview after the CLAT?
No. The results of the written exam of the CLAT are the sole criteria for admission. Some institutions like Symbiosis, conduct a writing ability test and personal interview after the written exam
Which stream should I select in Std. 11 and 12 for law?
Any one. The field of law is not stream specific. Students are free to choose any stream of their choice from a recognised board to complete their std. 11 and 12.
Do 12th board marks affect my selection through CLAT?
No. The CLAT only requires a minimum percentage in the 12th board exams to be eligible for admission. The selection is purely based on CLAT merit marks.
How many times is the CLAT conducted in a year?
Once. As on date, the CLAT is conducted once a year, on the first Sunday of December. Check the official websites of the institutions for details.
If I will complete my board exams in 2026, in which year should I give the CLAT?
If you are appearing for your board exams in 2026, you can appear for CLAT in the year 2025. Your CLAT results will be available before you even appear for your 12th board exams. In case you secure a good result, you will be given provisional admission to college, subject to your satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria of marks in 12th boards.
Is the CLAT score valid for more than one year?
No. The CLAT score is valid only for the year for which it has been conducted. It is not carried forward for the next session. Check the official websites of the institutions for details.
Is the CLAT conducted on pen-paper or online?
As on date, the CLAT is conducted in the pen-paper mode. Check the official websites of the institutions for details.
In which language is the CLAT paper?
As on date, the CLAT is conducted only in English. Check the official websites of the institutions for details.
Can I exit the 5 year integrated program with only one of the two degrees?
No. As on date, there is no provision for an exit with a partial degree. Keep checking the official websites of the institutes for latest developments.
Is there negative marking in the CLAT?
Yes. 1/4 negative for a wrong answer. 0 for not attempting.
Once I have registered for the CLAT, do I separately need to apply at the NLUs?
No. The registration for CLAT includes application to all the NLUs (except NLU Delhi). The process of admission for NLU Delhi is totally separate from the CLAT.
